One of the greatest things about being a member or working at the Y is all the familiar faces you see on a regular basis. As an employee and a member it seems that no matter when I am working or working out I see someone I’ve seen before. It doesn’t matter if I saw them the day before or years ago, what matters is they keep coming back to the Y.I’m not sure if this same phenomenon can be found at other gyms or pools. I think it is one of the aspects that makes the Y more than a gym or pool.
